DZP Visuals is part of my photography business, David Zentz Photography, and focuses on providing top quality photography and video services for private clients. I am available for weddings in Los Angeles as well as destination weddings throughout the world. Other than photography, there’s nothing I love more than travel! I am also available for portraits, whether you’re an actor or business professional looking for headshots, or a family looking for a memorable portrait to hang in your home.

I have lived in Los Angeles for the past two years and have been a professional photographer for the past 10 years. My photography career began in media. I have worked for major newspapers like the Chicago Tribune, the St. Petersburg Times, the Orlando Sentinel and the Peoria Journal Star, and have won numerous awards for my portraiture and documentary work. I continue to work for the Associated Press and a variety of magazines, shooting everything from news to fashion.

When shooting your wedding, my aim is to tell the story of your wedding day from start to finish in a way that, when you look at your album 50 years from now, will make you feel as if it was only yesterday. I photograph weddings in a journalistic style and pride myself on my ability to capture the emotion of your day as well as all of the carefully chosen details you put so much work into selecting. I also aim to stay close to the action of the day while remaining as discreet as possible. I have been told by couples that they hardly knew I was there during the wedding!

Also, as of March I will be offering wedding videography services. Please check back for work samples and pricing!

If you’re a portrait or headshot client we can work in my home studio or outdoors. Or, for a small fee, I am happy to come to you. Before any session I will always do a phone consultation to discuss wardrobe, hair and makeup. If you wish to have a makeup or hair professional at the shoot I would be happy to provide a referral.
